This Seller Agreement is a supplement to the Terms of Service that applies to users who apply to be verified sellers on Bukid. By submitting a seller application you additionally agree to the terms below.

1. Seller eligibility and verification

To become a seller you must (a) be at least 18 years old, (b) be a Philippine resident, (c) provide a valid government-issued ID, (d) submit a live selfie for face matching, and (e) verify a Philippine mobile number via SMS OTP. Bukid reviews every application manually and may reject any application at its sole discretion.

2. Accurate listings and pricing

Every listing you publish must accurately describe the goods offered, their origin, quantity, quality, and price. Bait-and-switch pricing, misleading product claims, and fraudulent photos are prohibited and grounds for suspension.

3. Internet Transactions Act disclosures

Under the Internet Transactions Act (RA 11967), sellers are required to disclose their verified identity and contact information to buyers at the point of transaction. By becoming a seller on Bukid you authorize Bukid to share your verified display name, city, and a messaging handle with buyers who initiate an inquiry.

4. Prohibited goods

You may not list firearms, ammunition, explosives, controlled substances, prescription medication, hazardous chemicals, counterfeit goods, endangered wildlife or animal products restricted by CITES, tobacco and alcohol without proper licenses, stolen goods, adult content, or any item that violates Philippine law. Bukid maintains an up-to-date prohibited-goods list in the Content Policy.

5. Seller obligations

• Respond to buyer inquiries in a reasonable time.
• Honor agreed prices and fulfillment arrangements.
• Declare taxes due on income earned through Bukid transactions in accordance with BIR rules.
• Comply with local health, safety, and licensing regulations for your goods.
• Keep your verification documents up-to-date.

6. Subscription fees

Bukid charges sellers a flat subscription fee for continued publishing privileges once billing activates. During the launch window, sellers are grandfathered onto the free tier. No commission is taken on individual transactions.

7. Review and suspension

Bukid may suspend or permanently remove a seller account in response to fraud, prohibited listings, or persistent low review scores from buyers. Suspension takes effect immediately and all published listings are soft-archived until the account is restored or hard-deleted.

8. Termination

You may terminate your seller status at any time via the account settings page. Termination does not erase your transaction history with buyers, which may be required for dispute resolution and tax reporting.
